Environmental Policy

Envogen believes that it has an important role in setting Environmental Standards within its scope of operation.

The business will adopt the following to ensure compliance with all current and impending legislation, reduction of pollution to lowest practical levels and to maintain continual improvement of the Company's environmental performance:

  1. Determine legislation relevant to its activities and services.
  2. Determine where procedures have an impact on the environment.
  3. Introduce objectives and targets to reduce those aspects which create a significant impact on the environment or alternatively control them through defined working practices.
  4. Ensure contingency plans are in place for dealing with emergency situations which may cause a significant environmental impact.
  5. Understand and maintain the principles of appropriate control, abatement and containment techniques.
  6. Develop and implement a training programme to ensure all staff understand and are motivated to comply with requirements.
  7. Establish a system for auditing Environmental management processes.
  8. Appoint an Environmental Officer responsible for all these activities.
